Bharmaur's ADM, Vikas Sharma, has officially declared that the Green Tax will take effect from July 1, 2026. He has advised vehicle owners and taxi operators to finalize their paperwork ahead of time to prevent any disruptions.

Exemption Process for Local Residents

Exemption Process for Local Residents:



  • Residents with vehicles registered in other states or RTOs can request a pass (exemption certificate) at the SDM (Na.) office, Bharmaur.


  • Proof of residence must include one of the following documents:



    • Aadhaar card (showing local address)


    • Ration card


    • Driving license


    • Land records (Jamabandi/Intkal)


    • Local residence certificate from Panchayat/Revenue Department


    • Any other valid document confirming local residency





Exemption for Employees

Exemption for Employees: Individuals employed by government, semi-government, boards, corporations, banks, educational institutions, and private companies in Bharmaur, whose vehicles are registered outside Himachal Pradesh, can also apply for passes. They need to provide a valid ID card or service certificate from their respective department or office.


ADM’s Appeal: All qualified vehicle owners and taxi operators are encouraged to submit their applications along with the necessary documents at the SDM office, Bharmaur, in a timely manner to facilitate a smooth rollout and avoid any future issues.
