The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, extended his congratulations to the Indian cricket team for their impressive victory against South Africa in the third and final One Day International (ODI) match, securing the series 2-1.
He praised the players for their skill, determination, and teamwork, noting that their remarkable performance provided a source of pride and joy for cricket fans across the nation.
In a post on the social media platform 'X' late Saturday night, Naidu expressed, 'Heartfelt congratulations to the Indian cricket team for their magnificent win by nine wickets and for clinching the series 2-1! Special accolades to Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli for their outstanding contributions.'
He remarked that the match held in Visakhapatnam was memorable, highlighting the city's honor in hosting such a historic event. Thanks to a stellar bowling performance led by Kuldeep Yadav and Prasidh Krishna, along with Yashasvi Jaiswal's unbeaten 116 runs, the Indian team triumphed over South Africa by nine wickets, with 61 balls remaining.
