Concerns Raised Over Yamuna's Purity
On Wednesday, spiritual leader Acharya Dhirendra Shastri, head of the Bageshwar Dham government, conducted a prayer ceremony alongside poet Kumar Vishwas by the banks of the Yamuna River in Barkot, Uttarkashi. During this event, he expressed his worries regarding the river's cleanliness and announced a significant 'Sanatan Hindu Unity March.'
Surprised by the River's Condition
After the rituals at the Yamuna's banks, Acharya Dhirendra Shastri expressed astonishment at the river's purity, lamenting the polluted state of the Yamuna in the Braj region and Delhi (Indraprastha). He remarked, 'Here, the water of Mother Yamuna is as pure as gold. I was shocked to see such purity here, while it is absent in Braj and Delhi. It broke my heart.' He pledged to work towards restoring the river to its original pristine condition.
Announcement of the 'Sanatan Hindu Unity March'
Acharya Dhirendra Shastri has declared a major march aimed at promoting Hindu unity. This march is set to commence on November 7 and will continue until November 16, with the route stretching from Delhi to Vrindavan. The primary goal of this initiative is to unite Hindus and bring together followers of Sanatan Dharma. During his address, Shastri firmly stated that there will be no 'tanatani' in this country, only 'sanatani.'
Political and Religious Statements
In his speech, he also made pointed political and religious remarks, asserting, 'There will be no 'Ghazwa-e-Hind' in this country, only 'Bhagwa-e-Hind.' Those who support Ram will be celebrated, while those who oppose him will not.'
