From Actress to Nutritionist: Claudia Ciesla's Inspiring Transformation
Claudia Ciesla's Journey to Nutrition
Claudia Ciesla, an actress recognized for her roles in reality shows like Bigg Boss and films such as Khiladi 786 alongside Akshay Kumar, shares her remarkable transition from acting to becoming a celebrated nutritionist. Her journey began with a desire for radiant skin and effective weight management, which ultimately led her to publish her book, Keep Eating Keep Losing, in 2016.
Upon relocating to India in 2009, Claudia's primary goal was to establish her acting career. She received a warm reception and participated in various reality shows and films. However, amidst the glamour, she became increasingly aware of the vital link between diet, lifestyle, and overall well-being. Initially driven by personal goals—such as achieving glowing skin and vibrant energy—she soon recognized that nutrition is fundamental to health, confidence, and life quality.
Her newfound understanding evolved into a deep-seated passion. "I aimed not only to enhance my own life but also to assist others in leading healthier, disease-free lives. My journey into nutrition began as a personal health quest and transformed into a calling. I pursued studies in nutrition, obtained certifications, and gradually developed Claudia’s Concept of Healthy Living. Today, my work feels like a true reflection of my identity and beliefs," she explains.
When asked about any personal health experiences that motivated her to delve into nutrition, Claudia responds, "Absolutely. My acting career heightened my awareness of my appearance, but it also made me realize how food and lifestyle choices impact our energy, focus, and emotional stability. I learned that even with regular exercise, poor nutrition can hinder both physical and mental performance."
She continues, "The pivotal moment for me was understanding that nutrition transcends mere aesthetics for roles or events. It’s about thriving in daily life. I observed how the right foods could significantly enhance my skin, digestion, and mental clarity."
Discussing the difficulties of juggling acting with her nutrition studies, she admits, "It was indeed challenging, as acting demands long hours and unpredictable schedules. However, my strong motivation to learn kept me focused. I dedicated my nights and days off to studying, attending classes, and working on my education whenever possible."
Claudia proudly recalls, "Publishing my book, Keep Eating Keep Losing, in 2016, with Suniel Shetty launching it and Sonakshi Sinha writing the foreword, was a significant achievement for me. It demonstrated that I could successfully navigate both passions without sacrificing one for the other."
