Enrique Iglesias Returns to India with a Bang
Grammy Award-winning artist Enrique Iglesias electrified the audience during his concert in Mumbai, marking his long-awaited return to India after a 13-year hiatus. The global pop sensation greeted a sea of fans with a heartfelt "Namaste" as he kicked off the first day of his two-day concert series at the MMRDA Grounds.
The crowd was soon on their feet, dancing and singing along to Iglesias' timeless hits. The Spanish singer, with his hands folded in greeting, received enthusiastic cheers from the thousands present.
Among the attendees were several Bollywood stars, including Malaika Arora, Vidya Balan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Disha Parmar, who joined the over 25,000 fans at the event on October 29, celebrating Iglesias' much-anticipated comeback.

Sporting a casual all-black outfit and his signature cap, Iglesias performed a medley of his greatest hits, such as "Subeme La Radio," "Freak," and "Bailamos." The audience was particularly captivated by his renditions of "Me Pase," "El Perdon," and classics like "Hero" and "Escape." The concert culminated in a spectacular finale with "I Like It," as hundreds of white balloons featuring his initials (EI) floated into the sky amidst fireworks.
Other celebrities at the star-studded event included Abhinav Shukla, Tina Dutta, and Gurmeet Choudhary, all of whom joined in the fun, dancing and capturing memories on their phones as Iglesias brought his signature energy to the stage. The concert series is produced by EVA Live.
Featuring a high-energy 90-minute setlist of 19 hits, this marked Iglesias' debut performance in Mumbai, according to a press release.
Supporting acts included Indo-Canadian singer Jonita Gandhi and the dynamic EDM duo Progressive Brothers, who kept the crowd entertained with their performances.
The Spanish superstar quickly connected with fans of all ages, with attendees traveling from cities like Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, and Goa to witness the event, highlighting his immense popularity in India.
The second day of the concert, set for October 30, is anticipated to attract an even larger crowd of approximately 30,000 fans.
