The Madras High Court has rejected his request for an extension regarding the Family Welfare Court's deadline to resolve an interim maintenance application filed by his estranged spouse, Aarti Ravi. Madras HC Turns Down Petition Seeking Extension in Ravi Mohan Divorce Case
The Madras High Court has turned down Ravi Mohan's petition for more time for the Family Welfare Court in Chennai. The case involves an interim maintenance request from Aarti, who claims that Ravi has not provided support since April 2025, including their children's educational expenses. The High Court had earlier mandated that the Family Welfare Court hear the maintenance application and issue a ruling within two weeks.
In response to the High Court's directive, Ravi Mohan sought an extension, arguing that the Family Welfare Court needed additional time to finalize the proceedings. However, Aarti's attorney, senior advocate J. Ravindran, opposed this request, arguing against any further delays.

After considering arguments from both parties, Justice Abdul Quddhose dismissed Ravi Mohan's request and reaffirmed the previous order from the High Court. The court suggested that the actor seek any additional relief directly from the Family Welfare Court regarding the ongoing matters.
During his earlier press conference, Ravi Mohan expressed his commitment to his children, stating, "I didn’t speak for fourteen years. I have tolerated enough. I haven’t seen my sons for so long, and now people are questioning my love for my kids. I have been paying Rs 50 lakh towards my sons’ school fees so they can have a good life. Don’t question my love for my children.” On September 10, 2024, he publicly announced his separation from Aarti Ravi after 15 years of marriage, during which they welcomed two sons, Aarav and Aayaan. Following the separation, rumors linked him to his friend and healer, Kenishaa Francis, but reports later indicated that they had also ended their relationship.
