Renowned South Indian actor Ram Charan and the iconic composer AR Rahman graced the grand music launch of Peddi, which took place at Dussehra Maidan in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, on Saturday. The event also saw the presence of Janhvi Kapoor and other cast members from the sports drama. During an engaging session, Ram Charan was prompted to describe notable cricketers in just a few words. He referred to Sachin Tendulkar as having a "Long legendary run," while he described MS Dhoni as "calm and cool." For Rohit Sharma, he remarked, "He's everybody's man," and simply labeled Virat Kohli as "Fire." When it came to Jasprit Bumrah, he expressed his admiration, calling himself his biggest fan. However, in a humorous slip, he mistakenly mentioned his love for football in relation to Bumrah, which quickly became a trending topic on social media.

He emphasized his respect for Bumrah and noted that he is a significant fan of his cricketing skills, stating that Bumrah has made every Indian proud by consistently challenging batsmen.

So thank you, humara mehnat aur humara dil bhi mehsoon kijiye is film ke dauraan (No matter how many films are in my library, Peddi will be my number one film. So thank you, and please appreciate the hard work and passion we have invested in this film).

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, Mythri Movie Makers, and IVY Entertainment, Peddi is scheduled for theatrical release on June 4, 2026. The film features actors Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu.
