Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is gearing up for another exciting project. Following the success of Bhooth Bangla, he has commenced filming for Anees Bazmee's upcoming movie alongside Vidya Balan. Additionally, he is preparing for the highly anticipated release of Welcome To The Jungle. Recently, it has been officially announced that the superstar will lead India's first major alien thriller, titled Samuk. This film is projected to be one of the most significant theatrical releases in India for 2027, combining elements of large-scale action, survival horror, and alien thriller on a global scale. Directed by Kanishk Varma and produced by Vipul Shah, with Aashin A Shah as co-producer, Samuk promises to be a groundbreaking cinematic experience.

International Collaboration

The film boasts a prominent international technical team, including acclaimed creature FX designer Alec Gillis, known for his work on the Alien and Predator franchises. Gillis aims to create an alien creature that is unlike anything audiences have encountered before. He expressed excitement about collaborating with Kanishk to design a unique alien horror character. Stunt coordination will be led by British expert Luke Tumber, whose impressive resume includes Mission: Impossible, Venom, and Star Wars.
